Welcome to Stained Glass Work by Shelagh Davies
Located in Hampshire, in the heart of the New Forest National Park, I design and make leaded and stained glass panels for windows and doors using traditional techniques.
The possibilities are endless – a panel may be designed to incorporate brilliant sparkling glass, perhaps with added painted, stained, enamelled, or fused elements and it will be completely unique. I pride myself in working closely with my clients, taking whatever time is necessary to ensure that the end result is something special that we have created together.

Your stained glass window will give you a legacy to enjoy that changes subtly through days and seasons: differing levels of light alter the intensity of the colours of the glass as the sun moves across the sky and at night judicious lighting may enhance the panel creating a different, equally stunning, effect.

To remember some fabulous holidays in Greece we asked Shelagh if she could make us a circular stained glass window incorporating a great view of where we stayed.
Boy did she come up trumps! We have the full colour stained glass with many different textures (Shelagh's idea) and the painted glass view we were looking for.
This has pride of place in our new kitchen extension and is a reminder every day, thank you so much Shelagh.

We had decided to buy a stained glass fire screen to cover the fireplace when not in use, the idea being to light up the coloured glass from behind. We found the website and as soon as I contacted Shelagh I was sure she was the right person for the job. She went to great lengths to help with the design and produced what I had in mind - a lovely panel with a hint of art deco to reflect our 30's style house.
